I keep thinking about Mexico and how to share my thoughts with you. So I’ve decided Im going to tell small parts of my week and try to show you rather than just tell you. So Im going to start with Maria.
Maria is about 3 feet tall. She is about 40 years old. Her friends at the orphanage call her “baby”.
She lives at a Mexican orphanage for Children with Special Needs.
She is non-verbal, but loves to show affection and other emotions.
She knows what she wants! When I was helping her get dresses she had a temper tantrum until she got shorts instead of pants. She loves to wear play jewelry!
She loves to pick up rock and put them in her buggy.
Maria is beautiful, gentle, kind and loving. Maria impacted my life without ever saying a word to me. Maria is an Orphan, but she is Loved by God and not forgotten!
