Washing Lego

Lego has been a favorite pastime of mine since I was allowed to play with it…AKA post putting things in mouth era. I’ve been collecting it for the last 2 decades. In the last couple years I’ve had 2 bins of Lego given to me! So now I have oodles of Lego, which is fantastic by me. Coco and I built a huge creation out of Lego a year ago, and now Thing 1 (Emily) is enjoying building obscure creations. So here’s the problem with being a bit of a germaphobe…Lego can get dirty! Especially if it isn’t your own dirt. So I took upon myself the task of cleaning the Lego!

Step 1: Put Lego in sink with soapy water. Rince well!

Step 2: Place Lego in Salad Spinner! Spin Spin Spin! This drys Lego fast.

Step Three: Be very grossed out by disgusting Lego Water. Or as Emily Calls it…Lego Soup!

Step 3: Create!

Lego takes me to one of my happy places. Neil’s amassed quite a collection, including some funky Star Wars stuff. I love watching him play as much as watching the girls…it’s so cute!
