Aves has the hiccups. I’m attempting to blog while holding her. Its not the easiest thing to do, but she isn’t really very happy to just relax tonight. Between that and getting puke down my shirt it’s been an interesting evening. The girls and I went to a friends baby shower this afternoon. We had a good time and Emily actually behaved herself. She’s been a bit disobedient of late. Today she did just fine. Unfortunately, she napped on the way home, so nap time didn’t go so well. 10 minutes asleep and she thinks she’s had a long enough nap. I certainly do not think she had a long enough nap. I managed to get her to snooze for a bit longer. I needed some me time!
Speaking of me time, I’m making a trade! I’m doing a bit of graphic design work for a friend who teaches kayaking. So I get a day worth of flat water kayak lessons. I’m really excited about that. I might even get to go on Saturday. I’m so excited to have some me time anyways. I’ve always wanted to learn to kayak. I even subscribed to kayak magazine for a while, but only because I had to pick one extra other than parenting magazine. I once used a river kayak, but all I could do was go in circle and then flip. It was fun. well, funny anyways. I probably could have charged money for people to watch me kayak. haha.
I think I’m going to go take some pictures of Aves. I need some new ones. I’m trying to think of some good ideas of ways to take her picture. She holds still well, but she doesn’t smile or look mysterious. oh well. haha. I’ll go take some pics and post a few in a bit.
Avery is so CUTE! And I’m glad that whole thing with Theresa worked out! Sounds like a good deal to me!
the pictures of avery is cute. she is getting bigger now. i am pleased that you get to have some me time which helps when you have kids. i am glad that emily is learning to be obedience to you courtenay.
