Thursday Thirteen #1

Heres my first Thursday Thirteen. Just trying it on for size. Most of my friends are pregnant right now and so there is a teensy bit of that “me too”. I decided to do a Thursday Thirteen(thanks Leah) to remind my self of why its ok for us to wait longer between kids and that I don’t actually miss being pregnant.

Thursday

Thirteen Reasons I’m happy NOT pregnant.

  1. I most definitely do not miss being sick all the time. I was sick until the day I had Emily
  2. Diclectin the wonder drug. I loved it because it made it so I could eat, but It costs a small fortune. I think its cheaper to bye Crack. Funny I think thats what we called it too. haha
  3. I don’t miss having my stomach look like a Tiger clawed me full of stretch marks.
  4. I like my belly button ring and was sad to take it out.
  5. I don’t miss craving Turkey and Chocolate milk every day, but I am thankful that 7-11 is open 24/7.
  6. I most certainly like not having to pee all day and night.
  7. I love walking! I hated not being able to walk because of my stupid SI Joint.
  8. Trying to chase Emily in circles while being nauseous would totally suck.
  9. Can anyone say loss of dignity. Doctor exams are awful.
  10. Thinking about baby names and what they could be shortened to or rhyme with is scary.
  11. Who really likes looking like a whale on a good hair day. Call me Ishmael.
  12. Maternity clothes make you look like a hot air balloon.
  13. The biggest reason I’m happy NOT pregnant is because I love my sleep.

I thought about putting “because I am” on # 13 and then writing another blog to say “Just Kidding”, but I thought it was too cheesy. I just couldn’t bring my self to be that cheesy. Well that wasn’t so hard.

Aww I like your reasoning Court. I too am having a saga with poop this week. Only mine does not involve a cute toddler.
At least you have a baby and have decided why you’re waiting- Dre and I are kind of at a “should we? shouldn’t we?” stage. BAH!

I have a new bloggy thing too- just to regale you with my stories of poop.
